Megan is sure a fun little girl to be around. She, Aidan and Esme had a great time playing together at Grandpa & Grandma's on Easter.
Grandma has tons of baskets to use for Easter! Esme quite enjoyed the Easter Egg hunt and did pretty well, considering Uncle Scott did most of the egg-hiding.
Megan can make the Cozy Coupe go, all by herself. Aidan thought it was more fun to push her around in it, though, and she didn't object!
Esme has spent a lot of time at the doctor's office and hospital lately. For a very long time on Sunday, she pretended to take care of Aunt Cathy. She checked her ears (see photo), she listened to her heartbeat and breathing, she gave her lots of "Motrin", she took several chest x-rays and even gave Aunt Cathy a CT scan. Aunt Cathy was a very patient patient, and eventually she was declared "fine" and discharged from Esme's hospital.
On Saturday, we all went to Marge's Donut Den for breakfast, so the kids wore their Marge's t-shirts. When we got home, though, of course Esme needed a drink...
After about a dozen tries, we did finally get a relatively acceptable family picture. We all kept anticipating the flash!
The Three Musketeers, all dolled up for Easter. Awwww...
Esme has been sleeping a lot lately, which is helping her to get better. Last Tuesday she fell asleep on the couch with her WebKinz and (of course) her blanket. One minute she was chattering away, the next she was sound asleep.
Snack time is always a big deal at our house...and the more fruit, the better.
Aidan is sure missing a lot of teeth. He has lost six and only two have come in so far! Eating an apple is a real challenge.
Jim is now the owner of a Mercedes-Benz C240. It has leather seats, lots of power accessories, a sunroof, a CD changer, and about 50,000 miles. A second vehicle, in addition to being unnecessarily pampering, also prevents all of us from having to drive to the airport at 4:30 a.m. on Monday mornings.
Here's Jim driving his new car, with his ubiquitous Diet Coke.
