It's an epidemic!
Countryside Elementary School staff is having a pregnancy epidemic!!!
Congratulations to Lisa Throop, Aidan's third grade teacher, who is expecting a baby girl, her first child, in February.

October = Halloween + MEAP
Yesterday afternoon, Esme told me that she sat with her classmate Nico on the bus on the way home, and he told her he's going to be the Graham Weeper for Halloween.
Yesterday evening, Aidan included in his bedtime prayer, "Thank you, God, for the MEAPs." I think it's probably safe to say he is enjoying his first standardized test experience.

What Aidan Knows About Light
First let me say that Aidan loves science class. He doesn't talk too much about school, unless someone asks him to tell about it. But everything he volunteers on his own is about science class! Anyway, they have been studying light lately, and Aidan made this little book to show what he knows:
