After we left the zoo, we went to Caden's birthday party at his grandma's house, and the kids spent several hours in the pool. It was tough to get them out of it! Here's Aidan, trying to get the water out of his nose, with Caden and Livi looking on.

We had a great time at the party - it was so fun to hang out with the Dennies and their family and friends. Caden was a terrific host! Sadie the Pool Dog decided I was going to be her very own audience every time she shook off getting out of the pool. I got sprayed with lovely eau de pooch et chlorine every five to ten minutes all afternoon.
Sunday we went to Emily's baptism in Fenton. It was lovely and so is Emily. :) Here she is with her mom and dad.
Aidan was glad to have some boys to hang out with at a family occasion...he is really grateful that Cameron and Joshua are Aunt Cathy's nephews, too. He and Josh looked a lot alike on Sunday, despite the fact that they're not related at all.
