We visited the John Ball Park Zoo on Thursday 11 September for its Members Only Night - a farewell to the old spider monkey exhibit. They're already beginning construction on the new exhibit and next spring when the zoo opens it will be a lot different. Anyway, I finally did the zipline ride over the zoo, after Aidan, who assured me "You'll be just fine, Mom, I've done this lots of times and it's really fun!"
Let's just say it was exhilarating, if not exactly fun. I did manage to stop shaking by the time I got to the camels on the other side of the zoo. Then I took a camel ride with the kids, which made me slightly dizzy for a few minutes...this is why I never go on carnival rides, folks!
