Success! Esme will be in regular kindergarten this fall! She tested with flying colors. We know what she is capable of, but it is nice to have someone else see the same capabilities once in a while. Esme had to make various types of block towers, had to write her numbers and draw some shapes, finish a picture of a stick man, and talk to the teacher about her birthday, her brother, and what her mom and dad do. The teacher was impressed, especially with Esme's verbal abilities. The test showed that Esme can do what the average 5 1/2 year old child can do - and she is only 4 1/2. GOOD WORK, ESME!!!
The funny thing is, they didn't even ask her to read. Won't they be surprised in the fall!
